Journey to Wellness: Mental Health and Wellness Fair

Event Details

The Health Education Resource Center (HERC) in partnership with other partners in student and academic affairs is hosting the Fall 2024 health and wellness fair titled "Journey to Wellness: Mental Health and Wellness Fair." The health fair and flu shot clinic will be in the EIU Student Recreation Center on October 8th from 2-5 PM. All events for students will take place within Lantz and the Rec Center. Flu vaccines will be provided by the Sarah Bush Lincoln Student Medical Clinic and the EIU School of Nursing. Along with flu vaccines, organizations from on-campus and in the Charleston community will be on hand to discuss topics regarding the areas of health and wellness and workshops lead by various presenters will be hosted to help improve student health. 

Exhibitor Information

Interested in being a health exhibitor at the health fair? There is no charge to be an exhibitor at the health fair, the only stipulation is that products cannot be sold at the event and that your booth is related to the dimensions of health/wellness. We encourage exhibitors to provide and hand out information and/or samples of products. The event will serve students here on campus at EIU. This year we also are holding calls for proposals for workshops with students that center on the various topics of health. If your organization is interested, please consider submitting a proposal at the link below. Those who are selected for presentation will be notified.

Free Flu Shots for EIU! 

Seasonal flu shots will be available every fall semester. Students should bring their Panther Cards and employees/retirees should bring their insurance cards if possible! Check back for more information regarding the Fall 2024 fair.
