If none of our visit opportunities work for your schedule, or you'd just prefer to visit campus on your own, then sign up for a self-guided tour! Follow our self-guided tour map at your own pace and see all of what campus has to offer. If you sign up here, you can stop by our office to pick up a folder, T-shirt, and water bottle, or meet with an admissions counselor if you'd like.

First-Generation Visit Day
Saturday, November 16
Our First-Generation Visit Day is specifically designed for students and families naviagating college for the first time. Connect with campus resources on campus, learn about financial aid basics, hear from current first-generation students and more!

Transfer Saturday Visit
Saturday, Nov. 9, starting at 9:30 or 10:30 a.m.
Hang out at EIU for a transfer student Saturday! We'll give you all the info you need on admissions, and then we'll hit the campus for a fun walking tour.

Shadow Visit Day
Weekdays from September 3, 2024, until November 21, 2024
Shadow a current student for the day! Attend class and enjoy lunch in one of our dining centers. Then go on a campus tour and meet with an Admissions Counselor.
