Rain Locations: South Quad Dining Breezeway, MLK Jr. Union (Outside Food Court) and Stevenson Hall Lobby

All EIU students are encouraged to paint and place a hand print on the “These Hands Don’t Haze” banners that will be displayed on the Fourth Street softball field fence from Sept. 23 to Sept. 29. Educational materials, ribbons and stickers will be available at each location.

Dr. Shawn Peoples will lead a virtual forum with NPHC alumni focused on hazing awareness and prevention.

Display featuring photos and stories of hazing victims to educate the campus on the devastating impact hazing has on individuals and their families.

Enjoy complimentary donuts and purple ribbons, along with educational handouts. Students will also be entered into a drawing to win one of three $50 Dining Dollar prizes.

LOVE, MOM AND DAD

Join us for a screening of “Love, Mom and Dad,” followed by a discussion on the effects of hazing on victims’ families and friends and how we can work

together to prevent hazing at EIU.

Department Instagram Accounts

Stop hazing and raise awareness by posting on Instagram with @eiu #PanthersAgainstHazing. Posts should highlight why individuals or groups stand

against hazing. The student organization with the best post will win a prize for the entire group.
