Office Hours

The Office of the Registrar is observing Summer Hours from May 12 - August 8, 2025.  We are open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 8 am - 12 p.m.

Transcript Orders

Eastern Illinois University has retained Parchment to accept transcript orders over the internet. The Registrar's Office no longer handles transcript orders.

• No transcripts are printed after 3 p.m.
• All transcripts ordered through Parchment are official.

To Order an Eastern Illinois University Transcript:

Please Note: Electronic transcript orders should not be combined with mailed transcript orders. Please submit separate orders if both electronic and mailed transcripts are needed.

A computer is available in the Registrar's Office to use in placing orders if desired.

• Current Students: Request unofficial transcripts by logging into PAWS and select Academic Transcript under the Student Records menu.
• Former Students: Former students who no longer has access to PAWS should request transcripts here.
• High School Dual Credit Students: High school dual credit students should request transcripts here.
• Native American Education Service Students: NAES students should request transcripts here (.pdf form).

You may contact Parchment for assistance in placing an order, by clicking here.

Please note: Official electronic transcripts (.pdf) sent to a third party (where you manually enter the email address) will have "Printed Copy" appear on the transcript when printed. That will not appear on printed copies sent using the recipient table, application service or direct access code.

Transcript Fees

• $10: Processed within 3 to 5 business days (slower during peak times)

Public Act 102-0998

EIU fully supports Public Act 102-0998 The Student Debt Assistance Act and the subsequent amendment, Public Act 103-0054, which includes provisions for releasing a transcript for students with a financial hold.
