REGISTRATION HOLDS

The following is a list of the most common holds that prevent students from being able to register for classes. Also included is contact information for the office that has placed the hold. The Office of the Registrar cannot remove holds placed by other offices, nor can they override the hold to register students. If you do not know how to access your Holds in PAWS, please click here.

ADMISSIONS

You must submit your final official transcript(s), showing all the grades you have earned from the high schools, colleges, and universities you have attended. To do so, contact the counselor or records office at each school and ask them to send an official transcript to admissions@eiu.edu on your behalf. To be considered official, transcripts must be sent directly by the school. Transcripts can also be sent by the school in a sealed envelope to: Office of Admissions, 600 Lincoln Ave., Charleston IL 61920. STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER

Your Housing application fee needs to be paid before you can register for classes. For payment information, visit https://www.eiu.edu/housing/payment.php. If you have any questions about your payment, please contact Housing & Dining Services at housing@eiu.edu or 217-581-5111, and have your student ID ready. HEALTH EDUCATION RESOURCE CENTER

You must complete required Health & Wellness training modules online. For login instructions, visit https://www.eiu.edu/herc/logininstructions.php. You must submit immunization records showing you have received legally required vaccines. Visit https://www.eiu.edu/health/immunizations.php for detailed instructions.
