Knack Tutors are fellow students who have previously aced the courses they offer assistance in; tutoring is completely free and sessions can take place in-person or online. HippoCampus offers multimedia lessons and course materials to help you with your instruction, homework and studies. You can browse multimedia lessons or complete courses, and find help with the topics covered in popular textbooks. HippoCampus is a great tool to supplement your understanding of course content.
Khan Academy boast a free world-class education for anyone anywhere. The site offers resources on several subjects with videos, practice exercises and assessments. All resources are completely free and can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection.
EdReady is a free tool used to check readiness for college math and receive a personalized study plan. This option is ideal for students placed into developmental courses or looking to increase skills prior to starting College Algebra. The program does require a time commitment which varies, depending on your goals.
Tutor.com is a virtual learning assistance center, schedule online tutoring 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 361 days per year. Tutor.com guarantees all student essays submitted for review will be returned with detailed tutor feedback within 12 hours. No tutor may review more than one essay simultaneously. Registration is necessary for this service.
