Dr. Daniel Carter, associate professor of education, currently serves as the coordinator for the graduate program in teaching, learning & foundations. The graduate program offers a Master of Science in Education in Curriculum and Instruction and graduate certificates in Reading Instruction, and English as a Second Language Instruction.
Dr. Carter earned his doctorate in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in elementary education at Indiana State University. His passion for teaching was realized as an undergraduate at EIU where he completed his Bachelor’s in elementary education and his Master’s degree in educational administration.
