Add EIU Events to Your Calendar

Want to keep up with everything happening at Eastern? You can subscribe to the EIU Calendar, so events show up right in your personal calendar, whether you use Outlook, Google Calendar, or Apple Calendar, etc.

You can choose to:

  • Subscribe to all events (everything happening at EIU).
  • Pick and choose (filter by categories, audiences, or departments to create your own personalized calendar feed).

Create Your Own Custom Calendar

If you only want certain types of events, use the checkboxes below to select tags (like health and wellbeing, athletics, or specific departments, etc.). Once you make your choices, the URL below will be updated, you can copy that.

How to Add the Calendar to Your Device

  • Google Calendar (online):
    1. Open Google Calendar.
    2. On the left side, find “Other calendars.”
    3. Click the + sign → choose “From URL.”
    4. Paste the EIU link and hit Add.
  • Outlook (desktop):
    1. Open Outlook.
    2. Go to File → Account Settings → Internet Calendars → New.
    3. Paste the EIU link and click Add.
  • Apple Calendar:
    1. Open Apple Calendar.
    2. Click File → New Calendar Subscription.
    3. Paste the EIU link and click Subscribe.

Once you’re subscribed, your calendar will automatically update whenever new EIU events are added!
