David Smith is an exceptional Instructional Support and Training Specialist who has consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty with every request! I am currently out of the country on sabbatical lecturing as a visiting scholar. The day before my first lecture, I experienced serious technical difficulties with my computer. David responded immediately to my urgent plea for assistance. He connected remotely and was able to successfully resolve the issue within minutes. This is only one of many requests where David has provided outstanding instructional support. He truly cares about helping others and certainly deserves a shout out for his dedication to excellence!

Thank you so much for getting my computer updated so quickly and then taking the time to make sure everything connected correctly. You are a great EIU team member and so much appreciated by me.

Chad I can't thank you enough for the endless effort you gave me when trying (and eventually accomplished) to get my computer to work off campus. Your countless effort paid off. Thank you for being an amazing team member.

I wanted to thank Josh and the rest of the team that helped organize our training on Friday. He pushes us to do our best but is always supportive when we need his assistance. He encourages us everyday but this event proved his trust in us and belief that we can do great things if we work together as a team to accomplish the wildest goals. We have a great team thanks to his leadership.

SHOUT OUT to Carrie for taking care of all our Testing and Evaluation needs. Your work for our students, faculty and staff does not go unnoticed. Thank you for all you do - it is greatly appreciated.

I needed a little help with a project that I was working on in the Food Court. Tasha pitched right in and went above and beyond to assist with such a good attitude and willingness to do whatever was needed that she saved the day! Thank you much Tasha for all you do!

Teri is always helpful and always willing to pitch in with a good attitude!

Chris is just an overall amazing asset to EIU! He is always so accommodating, friendly and willing to help wherever it is needed. Thank you for everything, Chris!

Nate is always so prompt and communicative, even when we have some last-minute requests. We really appreciate everything he does for us!!

Breanne keeps the History Department running smoothly and does so with unfailing cheerfulness and kindness. Whether managing the day-to-day operations of the department or making preparations for a special event, Breanne goes above and beyond to ensure the success of the department. Thank you, Breanne!

Sandy saw a report that could be improved and without anyone asking she made it so much more efficient for us to fix an issue the report warns us about saving hours of work.

Thanks for your work publicizing and implementing the Formula 1 watch party at Doudna -- that was one of the best race experiences I've had. What a great event; I hope we can continue (and build on) this tradition!

Thank you for organizing the F1 watch party at Doudna -- what a great day! I hope we can keep this tradition going and keep building campus and community involvement. Jessica and the entire Counseling Clinic staff deserve a huge thank you from our campus, and our support. Thank you all for working tirelessly to help our students work toward and maintain positive mental health. The staff makes a difference every single day in the lives of many students, thereby positively impacting those of us who work on campus as we strive to serve our student body. EIU is fortunate to have such a skilled, empathetic and dedicated counseling staff. Please know that your work is noticed and appreciated.

Chris addressed the CLAS chairs recently. His demeanor was so open and enthusiastic. He has cheerfully helped me at least twice since then and I am very grateful. Good hire, Michael!!

Many thanks to Dennis Malak and his staff, who carved time out of their weekend to accommodate a tour of the Doudna for a small group of Theatre Alumni. It was genuinely appreciated, and the group loved reconnecting with their beloved spaces and comparing the old facility with the new. Dennis is an extraordinary asset for the DFAC.

Christian was EXTREMELY helpful with an IT issue and got us back up up and running in a timely manner. Thank you for assistance and dedication to our students and staff. Greatly appreciated.
