Program sheets and/or departmental flyers are one of the most common requests we get. Below is a summary of these options along with suggestions, tips for content and examples.

Program Sheet

Description
The Program Sheet is a recruiting tool that serves to showcase an individual program or department. It features a large photo and content related to the degree or program. These are often used for new student recruiting and serve to develop interest while directing the reader to the departmental or program website for more information.

Suggested Content
- Highlights of the program or department that distinguish EIU from competitors
- Opportunities for students at EIU: student organizations, clubs, special awards or accreditation
- Positive outcomes from current students or alumni
- Possible careers, salaries, and job placement rates- answer questions that are frequently posed during recruiting fairs/events or meetings
Curriculum Sheet
Size: 8.5"x11", One or two-sided, full color (pdf example)
Description
The Curriculum Sheet is a recruiting tool that serves to showcase the actual courses and curriculum of a specific degree program. It can be used in both on and off campus recruiting and for general information. It features specific degree requirements and lists of courses broken down into detailed requirements for general education requirements, major course requirements, electives, as well as minors and options.

4-year Study Plan

Description
The 4-year study plan is a recruiting tool that serves to showcase the 4-year course sequence of a specific degree program. It can be used in both on and off campus recruiting and for general information. It features the required courses of a program by semester and can include additional requirements such as internships, testing and other degree specific requirements.

Advising Input Form

Description
The input form is an advising tool that allows the student to update and save the form as they complete the requirements for their program of study.

Combined Program/Curriculum Sheet

Description
In some instances a combination of the Program and Curriculum sheet is the best solution for a program, especially when curriculum is an important selling point for a program.
Program Postcard
Size: 4"x6", two-sided, full color (larger sizes available if needed) (pdf example)
Description
The Program Postcard is a simple way to reach out to prospective students for the first time or to follow up with prospective students who have asked for more information. The postcard is meant to encourage the prospective student to contact the department and visit the departmental website for more information.

General Postcard

Description
The General Postcard is for more personal interaction with prospective or current students. Sending a handwritten note as a thank you or follow-up has proven to be a very successful way to engage both current and future students while allowing us to convey the friendly and personal experience of our campus.
