Flexible Spending Accounts
Save on eligible health and dependent care expenses through a tax-advantaged Flexible Spending Account (FSA). All active employees are eligible to enroll in an FSA during the Benefit Choice Period. This benefit is not available to retirees and annuitants.
Medical Care Assistance Plan (MCAP)
MCAP is an account that allows you to set aside pre-tax, per paycheck contributions for you and your eligible dependents, to pay for health-related expenses not covered by insurance, including doctor, dentist, or prescription drug copays, coinsurance, or other eligible out-of-pocket expenses.
Dependent Care Assistance Plan (DCAP)
DCAP is an account that allows you to set aside pre-tax, per paycheck contributions to pay for dependent care expenses, such as child care for children under 13, or care for a physically or mentally disabled dependent.
Overview
Participants will receive a debit card at no cost. Documentation may be required to substantiate certain expenses paid with the debit card.
The FSA maximum contribution limit is $2,750 for the FY21 plan year with a $500 maximum rollover.
You must re-enroll every year to continue participating.
