Internships

The Department of Geology and Geography strongly encourages our students to participate in a mentored internship during their time at Eastern in order to gain practical, professional experience. Internship opportunities include placement with federal, state, or local agencies; work with local TV stations in on-air broadcasting; positions with private mineral exploration companies; and work with non-profit environmental groups.
