The PSM in GISci delivers geospatial courses in the fundamentals of GIScience and remote sensing, spatial analysis and statistics, GIS programming and geodatabase management. The program includes also includes a professional business component and internship requirement.
The GIScience Graduate Certificate Program provides individuals with a Bachelors degree in geography, geology, environmental life sciences and other related fields with the requisite knowledgebase to be proficient in GIS technologies, perform GIS-related research and be competitive in the job market.
The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Option of the MBA program is designed to support careers using computer systems to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage and present spatial or geographical data in a variety of fields including management, logistics, insurance, and telecommunications.
Housed in the Department of Political science, the Certificate in Public Planning is designed to provide students and professionals working in the public sector with advanced decision making tools. The theoretical and scientific training included in the certificate program will allow students to enhance their skill sets in public planning, particularly in the area of city/urban planning and state and local government.
