Concerts & Concerts Elect
The UB Concerts and Concert Elect coordinators plan EIU’s major concerts. They discover artists, gather student feedback, work with agents, and oversee the execution of the concerts. In the event that the Concerts Coordinator graduates or leaves the position, the Concerts Elect will fill the position.
Graphic Design/Webmaster
The UB Graphic Designer Coordinators create the marketing and promotional materials for all University Board events. From banners to small flyers, the design team works on a wide range of projects. Likewise, the UB Webmaster updates and maintains the University Board Website, making it engaging and informative for visitors.
Homecoming
The UB Homecoming Coordinator and co-coordinator plans and executes EIU’s homecoming in its entirety. With the help of a committee they create the theme, organize the parade, oversee the crowing of the homecoming court, and more.
Human Potential
The UB Human Potential Coordinator works to educate and entertain students on diverse subjects including but not limited to: cultural events, social issues, international holidays, culinary exploration, and cultural practices.
Productions
The UB Productions Coordinator brings UB events to life through sound and lights. With the help of a committee, this coordinator maintains the board’s equipment and works behind the scenes making sure the technical aspects of UB events run smoothly.
Public Relations
The UB Public Relations Coordinator handles UB’s social media accounts and works with campus and local news outlets to promote events. This coordinator also oversees the Street Team, making sure that posters and marketing materials are distributed across campus.
Special Events
The UB Special Events Coordinator plans a variety of events for the EIU community. This coordinator plans large scale events include Panther Fest (EIU’s Welcome Back Weekend) and the annual Up All Night. Other events include indoor skating rinks, stuff-a-bear, BINGO, and gaming tournaments.
Spotlight
The UB Spotlight Coordinator works to provide students an opportunity to participate in and experience late night entertainment such as comedians, poets, open mics, musical groups, and much more.
