Will my data be saved when I close a session?

There are two types of VDI, persistent and non-persistent. Persistent VDI is meant for one user while non-persistent VDI is usually for a group of people. A persistent VDI will save your data while non-persistent VDI will not.

For non-persistent VDI

If you choose to logoff of a session, your data will be lost.

If you choose to disconnect from a session, you will have 10 minutes to login again and retain what you were working on. If you fail to login after 10 minutes, your data will be lost.

For this reason, we recommend saving data to OneDrive, which is part of PantherMail, or a USB.
