How do I update and scan with Sophos Endpoint Security?

← Back to Desktop Use

Keeping your Sophos anti-virus program up to date is one of the most important steps in protecting your computer against viruses and other malware. This web page will demonstrate, step-by-step, how users can ensure that their Sophos anti-virus program is up to date as well as how to scan their computers for viruses in the event the computer becomes infected.

All Eastern Illinois University owned computers should have Sophos Endpoint Security installed. If your computer does not have any anti-virus, or if the anti-virus installed is not Sophos Endpoint Security, please contact Campus Technology Support at 581-HELP for assistance.
