Subject: Unplanned EIU Sharepoint (PantherShare) outage
Today, September 24, 2015, at approximately 2:00pm there were technical issues on the EIU Sharepoint (PantherShare) system that took the entire service down. After reviewing the issue, ITS system administrators have found the best course of action would be to restore from the latest backup of the system. The latest backup was taken at approximately 5:45am today. They are in the process of restoring now and hope to have services restored this evening. After the restore is complete, users need to log into their account and verify their data and changes that were made between 5:45am and 2:00pm when the service became unavailable.
