Subject: Campus Technology Assessment

The EIU Center for Academic Technology Support (CATS) is seeking your input. Do you experience problems with classroom Wi-Fi connectivity, want more online course offerings, or better access to campus services or learning material through your cell phone? Let us know! You may complete the 10-minute survey and enter for a chance to win one of several $50 and $100 Amazon gift cards by following this link:

https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/1971183/ECAR-Student-Study-2015-us-inc?eid=8507

We are asking the EIU student body to tell us about their experiences with the best and worst technologies on campus and which technologies are utilized to meet your course & learning objectives. In other words, your input is what we use to make decisions on which areas, programs, and departments receive technology upgrades. This is your chance to influence which technologies are available across the EIU campus.

All EIU students are invited to participate in this campus-wide technology survey. The survey is now open and by participating, you are eligible to win either a $50 or $100 gift card to Amazon.com.

EIU is interested in improving students’ experiences with information technology in higher education. The results of this study are very important to us. Your participation is voluntary, and your responses will be completely confidential. We encourage you to participate, and the web-based survey will only take about 10 minutes to complete.

Please go here to complete the survey:

If you have any questions or problems, contact Clinton Brown, EIU campus technology survey administrator at clbrown3@eiu.edu or the CATS offices at 581-8396.

Thank you for your time and we look forward to sharing the results of this study with the entire EIU community.

Sincerely,

John Henderson
