How to Find Online Classes (including General Education classes) in the Class Schedule

1. Browse to the searchable class schedule
2. From the Search by Term drop down menu, select the term in which you want to search for online classes and click on "Submit"
3. In the Subject menu, select the desired subject. If you want to search all subjects, then first select "Accounting" (it will become highlighted in blue). Then, press and hold the shift key down while pressing the down-arrow key until all subjects are highlighted. In Windows, you can select all at once by pressing "Control" and "A"
4. Under Schedule Type select "Online," "Online-no real time virtual mt," and "Online-real time virtual mt." The first two of these will limit courses to those that are online and do not require any real time or synchronous virtual meetings. The last selection includes courses that have real time or synchronous virtual meetings.
5. If you wish to limit the list of classes to those that meet a general education requirement, you must also select one or more of the following choices under Attribute Type. (To select more than one, hold down the shift key while using the mouse to click on each of the following attributes you want to include in the search.)
   • Gen Ed Biological Science
   • Gen Ed Cultural Diversity
   • Gen Ed Fine Arts
   • Gen Ed Humanities
   • Gen Ed Language
   • Gen Ed Mathematics
   • Gen Ed Physical Science
   • Gen Ed Social/Behavioral Sci
6. Click on the "Class Search" button at the bottom left corner of the screen and the available classes will appear that fit the criteria you selected.
