EIU Welcomes IHSA State Track Meet Competitors

An update from the Eastern Illinois University Public Information Office:

Eastern Illinois University is once again hosting the Illinois High School Association State Championships for girls' and boys' track. 2025 events take place from May 21 through May 31 at O'Brien Stadium. EIU employees and representatives wish all student-athletes a safe, competitive meet that creates great memories for all. 

Please note that foot traffic on and around campus during the 10-day meet will be heavy at times. EIU encourages all motorists to use extreme caution when travelling on or around campus and to be alert for groups of students and their families traveling to and from the residence halls to the stadium for the various events.
