EIU partners with Kaplan to offer free test prep to students 

(Charleston, IL) – Eastern Illinois University has partnered with Prepare for Illinois' Future Powered by Kaplan's All Access License™ to offer students complimentary access to top-tier test preparation resources for graduate admissions, licensure, credentialing, and professional development.

Through a statewide initiative led by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) in collaboration with Kaplan, a global leader in educational services, EIU students—along with peers from select Illinois institutions—now have access to over 40 comprehensive courses. These resources will support students as they prepare for critical exams such as the GRE®, GMAT®, MCAT®, LSAT®, and more.

That involves providing our students with the critical resources they need to prepare for graduate school, professional licensures, industry certifications, or to acquire new skills on their way to enhancing their personal lives and advancing their professional careers,” said EIU President Jay Gatrell.

This initiative enhances academic and professional opportunities for EIU students by:

• Expanding access to premium test preparation materials, eliminating financial barriers, and creating pathways to success.
• Equipping students with the necessary tools to excel in standardized and licensure exams.
• Strengthening student outcomes through improved pass rates, increased graduate school enrollment, and overall academic performance.
