Booth Library launches new spring speaker series: Authors@EIU

A News Release from EIU's Booth Library

(CHARLESTON, IL) -- Booth Library invites the campus and community to join us for the launch of a new speaker series this Spring semester, Authors@EIU. Six authors will be featured in three Spring 2024 Authors@EIU events to celebrate the research, scholarship and creative success of EIU faculty who have recently achieved publication of a book.  

The library recognizes and celebrates the diverse, robust community of EIU teaching faculty who are contributing to scholarship or popular learning, through this series and has added the featured publications to the library’s collection.

Events each session will include a shared reception at 5 p.m. and events beginning at 5:30 p.m. complete with introductory remarks, followed by presentations and question & answer sessions for each author.
