Tentative Agreement on Contracts Reached for AFSCME Local 981 and EIU

A Statement from Eastern Illinois University:

Bargaining teams representing Eastern Illinois University and AFSCME Local 981 have reached tentative agreements for two union contracts after a collaborative process that started in May 2023. The tentative agreement will be shared with the members with a ratification vote to follow.
