EIU Writing Center Fall Hours; Taking Appointments Now!
The EIU
Writing Center offers both face-to-face and online appointments for all students who would like help with writing assignments. The Writing Center offers help with essays and research papers—from talking you through the assignment sheet to brainstorming to revision and proofreading strategies. We also assist with project outlines, letters of intent or statements of purpose for grad school, resumes, scholarship applications, creative writing, and even D2L discussion posts!
Fall hours
Face-to-face: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 10am –5pm / Wednesdays and Fridays 10am–3pm
Online: Sundays–Thursdays 5–9 pm
To book an appointment, follow this link to the
Writing Center’s booking page, and use your EIU
email address to schedule your session. You’ll receive a confirmation message with the time and date of your appointment. If you've booked an online appointment, the
email will include a link to the meeting with your consultant.
You can also schedule your appointment by coming to the Writing Center Monday–Friday between 10am–3pm. The Center is located at 3110 Coleman Hall (the third floor).
