Panther Pursuit Scavenger Hunt

Get ready for the ultimate Homecoming adventure with the Homecoming Panther Pursuit Scavenger Hunt! This isn't just any scavenger hunt — it's a fun and interactive challenge that brings together EIU alumni and students for a celebration like no other!
Here's the deal: you'll get a list of local hotspots, from favorite restaurants to must-see landmarks. Your mission? Visit as many of these places as possible, snap a creative photo at each spot, and show off your Panther pride!
To join in, just post your photos on social media with the hashtag #PantherPursuit and either #EIUAlum or #EIUStudent. Each post counts as an entry for some amazing prizes – we've got exclusive goodies for both alumni and students. Plus, it’s the perfect way to make new memories or relive the best ones. So, round up your friends, grab your cameras, and hit the town! Let's show everyone what it means to be a proud Panther and make this Homecoming unforgettable!

Booth Library Open House for Alumni
3-4 pm, Marvin Foyer (Library Quad Entrance)
All alumni are invited to revisit their library memories at historic Booth Library! Explore exciting new additions like the Family Hub and the Center for Student Innovation, where you can experience 3D printing, virtual reality, and other innovative technologies. Enjoy a special Homecoming exhibit and refreshments as part of the celebration!
Lumpkin College of Business and Technology Alumni Reception
4-5:30 p.m., Lumpkin Hall Main Floor
Don’t miss this opportunity to gather with your fellow Lumpkin College alums and relive the good old days! Appetizers will be served, and there will be a cash bar available. We will recognize this year’s alumni award winners within Lumpkin College and have a great time renewing friendships while we build new ones. If you plan to attend, RSVP to lumpkin@eiu.edu.
EIU Campus Food Pantry Tours
4-5 p.m., 1347 McAfee Gym
We would love for alumni to stop by and see this amazing resource for our students that has been available since October 2021. While here, we encourage you to consider bringing a non-perishable donation with you. If this tugs are your heart, we also accept monetary donations as well. The Office of Leadership and Engagement look forward to meeting the alumni and telling you more about how much this food pantry has meant to our students!
