Student eligibility: Junior or senior standing, possess a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale, recommendation of high school principal. (No ACT/SAT test requirements.)
The school counselor will develop a list of students who wish to enroll and their GPA. This information will be included with a letter from the principal recommending the students for dual credit. The high school sends this information to the Dual Credit Office at EIU.
Staff members at EIU will enroll the students in a dual credit section of the university course.
