“Why not start an a cappella group?”
This is the question EIU student Brian Hartman and a group of friends — frequently entertaining themselves during car rides by harmonizing with the songs on the radio — found themselves pondering. That initial question, like early song lyrics scribbled on the back of a napkin or sheet of half-used notebook paper, was the first step in composing a full arrangement: The RSO now known as Eastern Euphonics.
The group — of which Hartman is president and which is open to any EIU student — has come a long away since accompanying the radio; the members have performed in a variety of events and venues and are always on the lookout for ways to continue growing as performers!
