Circulation Services offers an electronic reserve (e-reserve) service. The service will make course readings available to students via D2L course pages. Materials will be posted in a Course Readings module by the library staff member granted access to the D2L course page. Readings will either be organized chronologically, as dictated by the course instructor, or alphabetically, by primary author’s last name. The course instructor may reorganize content (e.g., move content into other modules within the course) after the material has been posted. Once content has been posted, the course instructor is responsible for moving it from one semester to the next. Reuse of reserves materials must follow copyright compliance guidelines. In general, content owned by the library may be reused; use of all other content must comply with fair use.
E-reserves will operate in compliance with copyright law, fair use, and standard library copyright practices. As such:
E-reserve requests will usually be processed and made available within 24 hours of submission. During peak periods, requests may take longer than 72 hours to process.
