If you are scheduling an event on behalf of an EIU on campus group, RSO, or department, please use this form to schedule NON-ACADEMIC EVENTS on campus. This form was revised 8/27/25 If your event will be held outdoors (e.g., quads, gyms), please complete the Unusual Event Form in addition to this request. The MLK Jr. Union has a non-cancellation charge for users who do not cancel their room reservation five days in advance: • Grand Ballroom & University Ballroom will be charged $100. • 1895 Room & Loft will be charged $50.

Only Registered Student Organizations are permitted to bring APPROVED outside catering in.
A REQUEST FOR ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES needs to be completed two weeks prior to your event.
For any special set-ups or requests, you will need to meet/discuss with a member of the scheduling office at least 2 weeks prior to your event.
